I would wait till black Friday and then get the smart tv on sale, thats what I did last year. Black Friday will be here quick.
Well sorta.
I'm thinking about getting a new tv. Is it worth spending the extra money for a smart tv if I already have a blue ray player that gets Netflix, Youtube, Pandora, Hulu etc? Or for $100-$150 less, just stay with a dumb tv of the same size? Never owned a smart tv. Advantages? Disadvantages? Thanks

I have one regular TV and two smart TV's. The regular TV rarely gets watched since I got smart TV's. I would spend the money and get a smart TV even if you have a blue ray player just for the convenience. Press a button on the remote and Netflix comes up I like it.

Just depends on how much you use the blue ray remote and don't mind changing inputs on the TV remote. With the smart ones you just have to use one remote for most of those.
I have 2 and really like them.
Just get a big one........

Get 4k, you can tell a deference, much better then HD,and it's what everything is going to.
