    Default Got new graphs now need some mounts


    What is everyone running for mounts for the 10"+ fish finder/GPS combos? I just got my 1159CI HD DI combo and a 1199CI HD SI combo today in the mail. Having a hard time deciding what to use to mount the head units with at the console and the bow. Ram mount, Balzout etc etc

    Ya they are at the top of the list but the $170 a piece is pretty pricey!!

    Save your money, the lost fuel efficiency will cost you more than enough in the weight and wind drag. You ever see those helmets they wear in the Tour de France when doing time trials? They need to make them for those huge units.

    Two awesome units !! Mount the 1199 in the dash like the Low was and the 1159 on the biggest ram mout they got in between them bad boy widow maker's

    You just spent near 4000.00 for your units the two mounts will be well worth the extra money. Get one six inch for the console and a 12 for the front and you will be really happy that you did later down the road.

    I have one of the ram mounts holding just a little 898 and i am not real impressed with it.

    Check out Cisco Fishing Systems Sure-Lock. Walleye guys up north use them. I have an 1197 on a Ram mount and it will not hold the unit in rough water.
