Default Water proof shoes or rubber boot HELP

I need to get some waterproof shoes or short rubber boots for this fall and winter. Just something to wear outside at the house to keep my feet dry. Need something reasonable. Not paying a big price for them. There is all kinds of options for guys but not girls. I also need to try them on before I buy them. I would settle for the old kind of rubber boot that you slip over your shoes and had the little thing on the side you pulled over a button. Those would work really good. Just need something cheap to knock around in. The old style that slipped over your shoes are impossible to find.

Have you tried farm stores? They usually have all sorts of those black rubber over shoes. If not then try an elevator or feed store in a small town, or if you have a Harbor Freight close, I believe they got them. Those are usually uni-sex. I don't think they make different ones for guys or girls.

M F A or Agri center usually carries the goloshes, pull overs as it were, as far as convience not so much a good idea, I talked my wife into getting a pair of insulated boots from bass pro, red head or one of them brands, and she really likes them, takes a few minutes to put them on but no worries about slippin or stepping in water and having cold feet. them four buckle goloshes are pretty nice and the farm stores should be getting them in pretty soon, Charlies Boots in aurora always had them pull overs, have not been there in awhile. good luck

Checked farm store yesterday. Nothing. They had some big ole buckle up boots. But you needed a big size 12 0r 13 foot. When I do find anything I run into a problem with sizes. I don't care if thye are mens but usually can't find them small enough. Gonna check around some more today by phone. I can get waterproof tennis shoe types through Bass Pro or Cabella's but not going to $100.00 for knock around shoes. I have a pair of waterprooof lace up boots for snow and cold. Just wanted something cheaper and easier when I have to go outside for a few minutes.
