no but I bet they are early and late, especially up james/flat creek area, and south of cape fair dock.
Anybody seen the whites schooling on Table Rock?

There have been some schools around the 76 bridge area and the ones being caught have been running on the small side. Haven't seen any around Virgin Bluff area yet. Thats where I usually fish for them in the evenings. Going tomorrow evening again will let you know what I find.
Went out trolling yesterday evening caught 6 crappie 3 were keepers and 1 white bass. Fished around Virgin Bluff and Bridge Port area. Didn't see any fish busting surface. I also caught 3 blue gill on cranks and they were of a good size to keep. All fish were released to fight another day.
I guess I'll just have to wait til the water cools down a little and the shad start moving around.
FAADAN just got done talking to a guy from Viola he said they were catching whites up the river heading towards 86 highway, If you know where the blue hole or deer bluff is thats where they are early and late, he said they were trolling for walley and got into white bass, no crappie and no walley, I think he lives at shell knob but I am not sure, did not know him but he seem to share honest and I beleived him, good luck and if I remember correct the white bass bite will get good the closer to cold weather we get
Thanks all. I figured they were up the rivers. I'm down near the middle of the lake near Mill Creek camping grounds and it's a long haul up to Viola or even the 76 Bridge across the James.
