Yea, I saw that one too......... those were some hogs they were catching. The lakes will do fine for me, don't have the nerve to launch on a big river like that. Sure looked fun though.
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish

I did not get to see the whole show yet, but they were fishing with Ryan Casey, who owns Show Me Cats. Ryan also did an episode of "City Limits" fishing with mike Iconelli. That guy knows the rivers! I'm gonna book a trip with him one of these years.

over on the other side of the state we catch a few big uns too if the corps would ever get the river figured out
Give someone a fish and you feed them for a day; teach someone to fish and you feed them for life.
Matthew 5:19 "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men."

Beagle, I've got a hunting buddy that is a semi-pro catfisherman. He drives all the way to TN to catch baitfish by the 100's, brings 'em back north in a huge livestock tub and runs a big 'ole river-john-boat rig, guiding and fishing tournaments.

He regularly hauls some monsters out of the Mississississippippi.
Teach your kids to hunt and fish and you won't have to hunt for your kids !!
