No wonder people like to fish with us Jamie. We give them all the fish. Hell they may not even like us. OSS has stepped up the expectation though for a fishing partner. Not only did he give his fish away he cleaned them for Jim also.

My husband and I were fishing at Deer Ridge last summer (MDC lake) and made the mistake of keeping all the fish in one basket (we were in our small pond prowler)... we were not over the total limit for 2 people but still received a ticket for not having the fish separated and marked. We were out on the lake and saw the Ranger on shore and actually came to him to show our license..
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'
Chris,
If I remember correctly, the ticket was at least $100. He informed us if we did not have the fish separated, we should at least keep a hole punch, etc in the boat to identify which fish was mine vs my husband's. He even told us they can come to your home and look in your deep freeze and you have to mark on the packaging the date and where you caught the fish... (never heard of that...). We do not abuse the limits or the size so I was shocked when we were very forthcoming with him and still received a ticket.
I usually don't have to worry about having too many crappie. Years ago my wife and I and a friend got caught calling some catfish up one day. Normally we would be out about an hour, this time it was about half of a day and started drinking about daylight which didn't help. Ended up costing me about $1750 and lost my license for a year. The only good thing that came out of it was they feed catfish to all the nursing homes in Linn that week. I guess it takes something like that to teach a person a lesson, have never wanted to do that since then...
Was There Number 911 Or Something Else........Wow Pretty Steep Fine, Have Heard Of A Guy Losing His Boat And Pickup Before Don't Know If It Is True Or Not.....
A FISH IN THE PAN IS WORTH TWO IN THE LAKE
