Yes you may, just need to keep them alive. NOT ON ICE. I have seen some bring them in a cooler of water with a aerator. You might bring a extra fish along incase one dies on they way over. Then just remove the extra fish before you enter the line. If you enter with 11 or more you will be DQ'd and not allowed to weigh.

We meet the first Thursday of every month at Knights of Columbus Hall on Tanner Bridge Road here in Jefferson City starting at PM. We typically have a club tournament every month. Each tournament we draw for partners and will you will not have the same partner during a calender year. Each boat to enter the tournament cost 40 bucks we then pay back at the end of the day for 1 in 3 boats and big fish. We pretty much only fish ozarks, truman and twain. There is a large amount of members that also fish the crappie tournament trails. At the end of the year we payout for the overall weight, top 3 weights combined and big fish for the year. We also help with the community during the kids fishing free fishing day out at Binder Park. Also we do a fish fry for one of the retirement homes here in Jeff each winter. We also have fish fry for the knights hall to say thanks for use of the hall for free. We have a yearly family BBQ and Christmas party thats free to member and wifes and . All of which is payed for through the yearly dues of $30. If you have any more question please ask, we are always looking for new members.

Sounds as if your crappie club does good for the community.
