looking to learn a lot from some of yous guys. i have spent the better part of 3 hours reading some of your tips and stories. I am new to kansas city, been here about a year now.....get all my crappie fishing in down at the ozarks on the in laws dock......got a sweet lil set up......sunk a ton of cedar trees all around and on top of that sunk some bill dance fish attractors.....man those things work great!
anyways i am rambling......i have been reading a lot about this Toronto lake in Kansas.......i am very very very interested in this place!
how is it this time a year and into the fall?
welcome to the board! great bunch of folk's here. toronto is a great lake. never have fished it consistently though except for these last few week's. i know it is a lake you have to watch the wind on...it's get's bad in the spring, water fluctuate's a lot...only fished it in the fall once and it was kind of tough. not much quanity but some quality...well for barndog mostly that weekend persistence and patience was the ticket...if your not familiar with the lake and wanna have a guaranteed successful trip i would recommend hiring chatt from the kansas board to show you some of the end's and out's of that lake he is very knowledgable on how that lake need's to be fished as well as fall river!!! i would love to go over there just not sure how my little boat would do with any amount of wind...look forward to your post!
