I've been night fishing for 3 years I use a 4 foot green light in the water and a 40watt 12 volt on a pole above the boat about 7-8 feet.Find a good point or drop off that you have mark fish on and set up on it. It may take 30-45 min for bait and fish to show up. If nothing is happen in 1 hour move. I do have more luck on minnows under lights. May see you tomorrow night going to start out at Ruark if it is to muddy I'll move down by the dam.Originally Posted by Pole Bender

Just so you know Just Loosing Tackle will be there also in a green nitro and that is where the real threat of sinking comes from. Should you see him coming you might want to head the other direction.
