Spider Rigging Questions
First off I've never Spider Rigged before nor have I seen it done other than in videos. I'm seriously interested in getting into it especially for summertime fishin. I've done some reading on the equipment, but obviously I want to get the best bang for my buck. I've come to the conclusion that the Tite-Lok series of holders is the way to go, over the Driftmaster and Bee-Ready brands, but please tell me if that's not the case. I was thinking about Wally marshall rods, since they are reasonably priced in 10ft or 12ft, but please say if there's a better option. I have no clue on reels, wether to use spinning or baitcast style.
Most of you have seen that I have a Champion bassboat, so I'm assuming I can still mount the rod holders. I figure I'll just havta wait until I put the trolling motor down before I put the holder in it's base.
Any help/tips/suggestions on brands getting started would be greatly appreciated. Keep in mind, I want to keep it as least expensive as possible, but have descent equipment. No point in going overboard just starting out.
Thanks guys!
