    Crappie novice,
Whenever I find a clump in the woods,I drop my hat or jacket next to them, before picking them.Them walk in ever widening circles aroud it.Its amazing how many you can find by looking from different angles or heights.

I'd be willing to spot and pick some with someone: IF you'd be willing to eat the darn things. I absolutely love to pick them, but can not stand eating them. My crazy lady loves to eat a few, but that's as far as it goes. I will however always be totin' a camera of maybe a bow or both. Can not beat the spring combo. Any takers on this offer, please reply somewhere between now and prime time 'SHROOMIN"........

I used to hunt them with a shotgun, now it's all archery stuff. Don't want to spook the rest-of-em'.
