welcome great place to hangout,,,
My nme is Seth and I am 24. I am a network/desktop tech for a k-12 school district. Im obsessed with fishing and bowhunting. The boat I run is a blue 1852 Legend SS jet boat with a 115hp Evinrude Etec. The Niangua arm, Glaize arm, and lower Osage below Bagnell Dam on down to the Missouri River are my home waters. In the spring I make several trips to the James River arm of Tablerock and snag a lot of big paddlefish. This is my favorite type of fishing with hybrid bass and crappie falling right behind.

Hi, just joined the site a few days ago. Have been viewing it for a month. My name is Chad Maupin, 43 was born and raised in Marshall, been married almost 20 years-my 2 boys (16,13) will be the 8th generation of Maupins in Saline, Co. I am a production manager for Conagra Foods. I have crappie fished Truman since i was 13 mostly in the spring and summer on the Osage out of the Higgins landing area. My brother and I have a place on Finey church road. The plan is to start fishing some tournaments in a few years when the boys are out of school. I have done alot of fishing on the upper end of the ozarks from the dam to the 70mm. Bought a long pole about 4 years ago and now have too many. Just trying to learn all i can about different techinques, areas, seasons, etc. Last week i recognized many of the CDC members(from their great pictures and posts) in Brush creek. They didnt know me from Adam but i greatly appreciate their reports. Hope to repay the favor down the road.:D
Welcome crappie mop.................. I fish with a mop head for a partner..........
A FISH IN THE PAN IS WORTH TWO IN THE LAKE
OSS, you were definately one i recognized last week in brush creek. Even with the stocking cap.
Crappiemop if you see a boat with a MO crappie.com decal or just a plain crappie.com decal give them a shout and tell them who you are. I am always getting stopped by guys who see my stickers on the motor and windshield. So don't be afraid to give us a shout and shoot the s$&@. Just grab one of the boys and come fish our monthly tournaments next year. We are going to try to get a youth tournament going this year also and we always have a couples tournament in the early fall each year. Welcome to the site. Lots great info on here and even better people.
Sounds great. Thanks
Most of our crappie.com tournament are only $25 and $5 for big fish. So it does not break the bank to come get in a tournament. They are also a great learning tournament we have the top winning teams tell how they caught their fish. Like bait used, technique, and general area. So lots to learn as well as a little friendly compitition.
