    Default What's happening at LOZ

Hey bugman or any of you guys from LOZ.

Have you been out lately, any update on LOZ would be helpful. I am getting the itch to get back after them, but the water is still awfully muddy on the upper Big Niangua.

I appreciate any tips and advice.

    Thanks,

Yeah, I was wondering how the bite was too...probably heading down Saturday morning to do some vertical jigging at our condo docks...

It's looking more and more like I better plan on taking every coat and hat I have - it's gonna be a cold couple mornings if the guessers are right :p

I've been keeping my fingers crossed for this coming weekend, also. We've been teased with nice weather so much, but I could not get away. Now, they are calling for lows of 11 degrees Friday and Saturday nights.

Good catch crichison!! Where is Hiawatha Beach Resort and is the heated dock open to the public or just guests of the resort?

    Thanks for the info.

Mercy Bugman - 2 Weeks????????? that is bad.

The water over here on the Big Niangua is finally starting to clear a little bit, just in time for this cold spell this weekend?!?!

I probably won't be down until the weekend of the 9th, at the earliest. It will be a cold one this weekend -- a few icicles from the rod tip for sure!

Heated docks sound good about right now. I've got one eyed up about 50 yards from where I fish and am working on a way to get myself in there. Haven't been successful with the property owner yet...
