    Default Ketch, clean and cook.

Took the bigger trout I showed other day, cleaned it then sautéed it. with spinach, portobello mushrooms and onions with garlic in olive oil and butter.

Was delicious and my wife who has little appetite on any day cleaned her plate which is unusual. Name: 20231207_171446.jpg

When done throw trout in the trash and have a pretty good meal!

Somebody has to like them. It is a pretty presentation though. Good job Keith I will stick with the squirrel back and crappie fillets! I do like to smoke one or two and eat cold with crackers.

I do love me some squirrel and crappie but you guys are missing out if you havn't tried it like this. Very delicate taste and really good. You and Bill need to give it a go.

Will take bunch I caught last year to my son so he can smoke them for me. they are really good that way as well. Try mixing that with garlic and chive cream cheese and it makes a great spread over crackers.

My son did some fried squirrel for a buddy who had never had it. It was gone quickly.Name: Resized_Resized_20231209_184039.jpg
