Ha, sounds like a typical trip for me.
We tried but did do very good. Couldn’t find minnows for two days near Clinton, brought some microscopic minnows from KC, fought the wind. Held a rod, tried dialing in the livescope, try to position the boat, try to keep transcducer pointed int the right direction, try to watch the screen, try to see the jigs in the water……All that and had to deal with Joedog. Man a lot going on. Oh well always nice to get out and fish with friends. Did see fish, did see fish bite, did boat one nice one a Bobby Garland 3” tipped with a tiny minnow.
Guess good and bad reports can be posted unless Slab decides to delete this thread.

It definitely was an education! Learned some stuff about the livescope. Learned a few new 4 letter words, too!! LOL!
But....as always....it was a fun day and better that working!
Oh....plus...a very worthy shout out to Coal Tire and Battery. So rare anymore to just pull up to a place, fully intending to just get some free air, but instead they take time out to check the whole tire, replace it with the spare and button everything back up. Just dropped everything and took care of it! How cool!

No worries man, I was out Saturday morning. Froze my tail off for 3 fish! The water was WAY up compared to weeks past.

well sounds like a great trip, but y'all never catch many anyway do you?
you can always claim it was strictly educational trip to learn how to work the LS and not fill the livewell. Aw anytime your on the water with a good friend it's a great day!
Still beats sitting indoors, glad you got out for a bit.
If we did what was most important in life there
would be a shortage of Bibles.................and fishing poles
