Default My version of the power pole

Well I just can’t justify spending $4-$5000 on a set of power poles or Talons. I spent a weekend coming up with my own version. Their 12v, 5 amp and weigh in right at 60 lbs. Figuring the right angle and hinge was the biggest hurdle. Then came keeping the weight down but keeping it sturdy. I’ve got right at $225 in the pair. I think I could put a set together in a few hours now but this set took 2 full days and a lot of scrap. They should reach 10’.

Very nice. Wish I had the time and patience to do something like that at that price point

Looks good. My problem is I seldom fish in water less than 12ft.
