    Hey I was by Tanecomo yesterday, Told Miss Sharon I use to fish there when I was a kid, been a long time, congrats. on your catch.

    Bunch of good fish. Easier to clean than that deer.....

    I'm up at KCMO and Lawrence KS every spring/summer seeing kids/grandkids and have never been there or Smithfield Lake (?). Is it good fishing year round? what can you catch in them? Might have to check them out next spring...till then I'll stay on the Mexican border...in shorts

    Before I bought my place down in Stockton five years ago. I would dock fish Year around at Jacomo . Mainly fish for crappie White bass usually good February and middle of March. If you decide to fish it bring light tackle 2 pound test or later and 64 or32 And inch and a half plastics . This time of the year in the winter spoons work will good small ones fish it slow.
