For sure get that blown up and framed. Would look unreal done in some small driftwood type frame or even old barnwood frame. Amateur or not that is a fine photo. That I think captures the beauty in a way that allows us to feel it in the same way your dad felt when he seen it the first time. It's a beautiful place for sure.

The place we stay at has cabins and campground for Rv or motor home. Then we just boat to were we want to fish. There is so much water and good spot you can't fish them all in a week. There is weed beds separating the lakes. The main lake is under one name "Wabaskang" but is more like 4 lakes the is connected by narrows and weed beds. That is north end. If you go south there is 2 different lakes. Definitely need steel leaders or the pike will cut you off quick. There are several RVs parked there all summer and they just go back and forth. One guy spends all summer there. The cabins aren't fancy but clean. You either need bottled water to drink and consume or boil the water there first. Since it is mostly rock and very little sand or dirt there isnt much room for septic system and water system. Google Earth Gawley's Parkview Camp Perrault Falls, Ontario and you can see the area.

They furnish sheets, blankets, pots, skillets, utensils and dishes. You have to take towels, dish towels, dish rag, dish soap and personal items. There is a small store right there that sells gas, licenses, ice, dry ice, and some groceries. The nearest grocery store is 1 1/2-2 hours away. Also July 1 is Canada Day. Sort of like our July 4 and stores are closed. Even Walmart. The little store by camp was open so we just bought stuff there. It was high but worked fine. We took along canned stuff because selection at the Walmart is poor.

Season starts last Saturday in May. When I was a kid we went in August. The first couple of weeks has a major mayfly hatch.
