Doesn't matter what brand sticker is on the side of the battery if you don't have a good charger to keep it healthy. #1 recommendation is get yourself a digital charger with enough banks to keep all your batteries topped off and fresh. Will help make any brand battery last longer.

Other than that, i like Wally Mart batteries. No where on this earth you can't get to a walmart in 30 min it seems. Can come in real handy if one died on ya on a fishing trip!

Trollers are Walmart series 27 x2, and cranking is a Interstate Dual Purpose and just replaced it today. Had to go by the locker and inventory, it was slow cranking Saturday and today is was still charging so I'm saying it was shot. Not sure what year it was put in service, the dots were not marked and it came with the boat I bought in 2012.
The best way to get to where you want to be in the future is to act like you are there TODAY.

If you are running a 24 volt system you will have better performance if you replace both batteries together. Once I changed to an on board charger my batteries have performed better and lasted longer than ever, it was the best thing I have done in years.

No matter what brand you buy check the manufacture date. Get the newest one that the store has. Most times the oldest ones are at the front of the rack. I've seen batteries in stores that were a year old.

I'm in the same boat and need a new battery soon. I've read on here that 12v golf cart batteries are good
