I have been following this board for two years and really feel like I know some of you. My name is David and I live in Aurora with my wife of 38 years Sharon. I have only crappie fished for about 4 years but I have learned alot just reading this board. I fish Table Rock and Stockton in a Tracker pt 185. I'll have to order some decals so I might meet some of you on the lake. Good fishin

Hi all. I live in Springfield and do the majority of my fishing around Clinton. I used to hit Truman hard, especially during the spawn - just carry an old 10' pole, a couple jigs, and a 5 gallon bucket and walk the bank. When hot I wouldn't even bother with the boat. Be back at Mom's house in 30 minutes.
Last few years I've been kinda spoiled with a private lake chock full of 10-11" crappie. Looking forward to spring.

Hi guys,
I found the forum a few weeks ago and signed up last week. I feel like a kid back in school again all the info you guys put out. I'm trying to soak it in but my A D D is slowing me down. I' m 47 and live in St. Clair MO. Been fishing and hunting for about 25 years and flyfishing for about 4 or 5. When I had a boat I fished Mark Twain, Table Rock, LOZ, Bull shoals, Stocton, And Pomme. My Mom and Dad live on the Rock so most of my time was spent there bass fishing. I sold the boat for a camper to take the kids all over so fishing and hunting took a backseat. My boys and I were introduced to Crappie fishing while camping at Pomme and fishing of the dock. An 80 year old fella named Lou spent the day with my boys showing them the ropes, and they caught fish. They still talk about Lou and that day. The boys started H S sports, girls, and the rest is history. My youngest is a sophmore in college and empty nest has set in. My dad gave me his boat last year and I'm getting it ready a little at a time for crappie. I'll be taking off some time this spring to take Dad crappie fishing and spend some quality time with him. I'd like to meet a few of you guys and put a face to the names.

Hey crappypappy, Beagle and I just talked about your post this morning. We both live North and South of Aurora (I live north on K Hwy). I don't think that I can teach you anything, but I know that Beagle can. Feel free to give me a call, 678 4853. Later, Jim Shipman (Ship) To have decals would be great!!Originally Posted by crappypappy
My name is Jason I fish Truman (Barry bend mostly) or below the dam. I am not a real social person so I don't say much, just watch what you'll type and lmao. My grandpa owned a resort in camndetan (I think that is how you spell it) way back when. I grew up fishing trotlines with him on the osage around Roscoe. If it flies, runs, or swims in missouri, I hunt or fish for it. :D
