    Default rough day today

Went out on the glaize arm at loz today. My buddies trolling motor broke and the starting battery croaked. Luckily we had just enough left in the trolling motor batteries to get the main motor started. To top it all off I think the glaize arm is turning over. Gonna get the trolling motor fixed tommorrow and may try the niangua arm after that.

With the wind up over 20 mph today, I didn't even give it a thought to go out. Sounds like you had a really tough day. Glad you jerry rigged it to get back in

Not all days go as planned. Headed down to Loz in a couple weeks so I will hope for a good report on your next trip.

Troller broke and weak crank battery in high winds, sounds like it could have been a disaster. I bought a demolished rig for salvage a few years back that had similar problems on Milford and the rocks tore that boat up baaaaddd.
Glad you were able to get it going.

Today not much better. Think the starter is going bad. Tried the niangua arm out of Larry gale with no luck. We were a little hesitant to venture too far from the ramp. Another buddy is joining us tommorrow and he is gonna drag my boat down with him. Maybe we can turn things around. Still better than working.....

Are you fishing brush piles or docks? Thanks for the report and hope you get your boat straighten out.

Did slightly better yesterday. Still not alot of fish though. We are new to shooting docks so we don't know if we haven't got the technique down yet, if we haven't found the right docks, or if it's just because it's a slow bite. We got a couple off bridge piers yesterday and found one of a floating sea wall but the wave action was making it too hard to control the boat in those places so we are going to explore that pattern more today. The only piles we have tried haven't been very deep and haven't been very good. We don't know where any deep water piles are, and my fish finder is useful for little more than depth and water temp. Good luck.

What a heck of a time your having and sticking to your guns and fishing way to go. Hang in there you will get the pattern figured out and when you do pay off will be yours.
