Thread: No white bass, BUT some nice crappie, trolling

Got down to Truman late this morning, was around all of the other white bass boaters, didn't see anybody yanking, took the tour and left for trolling cranks. Managed 4- 11 inch plus keepers' and 1- 10 inch , all had their eggs still, caught them in 25 to down to 30- ftw. Nice and calm, hardly any wind, but plenty hot, sunburn action this afternoon. Trolled Bandit series #300. Osage Arm was muddy / chocolate milk, stayed on other side of bluff, clear. Learned this afternoon from talking to two seniors about the water at Truman, the graph this morning said they were letting out water, HOWEVER, there's two types of " letting out water", at Truman, ; #1., letting out water for the turbines and one doesn't SEE the effects of letting water out, and #2., letting out water through the dam outlets where one can visually see the water comimg out. The graph this morning showed water being released, however, when you are sitting on the " WEIR", and you get off of the trolling motor and the current does NOT pull you back to the dam, then one can ASSUME they are NOT letting out the water, BUT they ARE, through the turbines. Think about it when you are sitting there and you release the troling motor pedal, do you stay there ? or get drawn back to the dam??????

good report, we caught ours yesterday in about the same depth, figure they was 12 ft. deep from looking at the 8.
