    Default LOZ Help and Question

I have a conference at Port Arrowhead next week and going to pull my boat. I have never fished the LOZ. Looking for advice on where to put in and do some fishing of an evening.

There is a ramp at the Marina there at Arrowhead but i have on idea what they charge as the Marina is a different out fit,
PB-2 is on to the west in Osage Beach
u may want to get a hold of Bugman or Hogster1 as they may be more able to help u in that general area
    Good Luck

I would pull on down to PB2 and launch there. That's in the Glaize arm of the lake and is turning on now. Fish should be on banks weather permitting. Give me a shout when you get down and I will try to point ya in the right direction. By then you should have a few options as to where to go and find some fish.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

    Default LOZ Help and Question

Turn right out of PB2 you'll see a bunch of docks. On the right is a bluff wall and down in the cove docks on the left.
The cove starts out deep getting shallow as you go in. I usually find some good fish somewhere in that cove. Some of the docks have ropes with brush tied off on the outside of the docks, don't pass them up.
That's what I would do unless one of these guys can hook up with ya and show you some REAL spots!!!
The fish you release may be a kids fish of a lifetime!

We are going to fish the area these guys are talking about this weekend and maybe one day next week. When are you going to be there and able to fish?

Bug man you must have the magic wand, I always try that cove and strike out. I stay at park view and that cove is across from me.
Any tips for that area so I can save some fuel haha!
I hammered out 10 nice ones between 9:30- 11:00 today by Kelly's port. Being able to fish close would be awesome.
If anyone's out Friday and sat. I will be flying solo in an old tracker 185 with a 90 on back. (Crappie. Com stick on it also of course) Stop by and say hi. Will be happy to BS and have a cold one with you. I have has the best luck on minnows 2-1/2 to 3' down in the back of open slips.

I'll be there Saturday and at least part of the day on sunday. Sounds like there may be some bad weather kicking up Sunday afternoon. May also come down next friday. Will probably start looking for them between mccubbins point and pb1 first, unless I get information that makes me consider another area.
