No sir, it was one of those "Fife" characters from the big town of Galena. He sure showed no sympathy, empathy or other words. He was determined to write that ticket. I sent the clerk a little email about it. Gotta pay, but the email sure made me feel better. Gotta cut some wood on Sat, but I will attempt to get down there Sunday after church if time allows. It will be interesting to see how the cold snap and the cold rain that we just got last night effects the fishing. I am hopin that they did not run too far from where I caught em last week.

For some stupid reason I went fishing on Saturday. I waited around for the rain to stop at the house, but that did not stop it from raining and sleeting on me all afternoon. I did not get skunked, but it was very close. I think I will hang it up for a while or at least until those crappie start biting up around the mouth of Flat Creek. I have kept a fishing journal the last few years and about Jan 20th was the best time to start longlining. Besides, I have to get to cuttin some wood, unless you would like to do that for me. hahaha
