I drive to Paragould, Ark. At Pillows Bait farm I pay less than $4.00 a pound for large shiners, These are used for Walleye fishing on the rivers.

The bad thing about flowers fish farm is they only sell 4-5 months out of the year. Flowers will be selling until the end of October.
I was gonna buy 20 pound and stock a 1 acre pond but I may just keep 10 pounds in my two horse troughs to hold me over until spring.

How big of shiners do you use? You can catch 2-300 4-6 inch shiners in a few hours at duckcreek during late summer, maybe all year.
we use them for cut bait.
