Default LOZ - Increasing the Odds

For those of us that don't get much time on the water, l thought it would be good to try and join forces, if necessary, to increase our chances of a good catch and meet some new members. I'll be headed down to LOZ this weekend (Friday afternoon) and will be fishing in the Gravois arm. I usually do pretty good this time of year, but any given day things can change, and the fish seem to be off pattern a bit this year. For those who don't know me, I grew up on/near LOZ and currently live in St. Louis. Will be staying at the family lake house in Soap Creek.

I'd guess the bite will be good in the morning and late evening once the temps get up high this weekend. I'll leave my phone number for anyone out this weekend to call or text. Anyone interested can also PM me their number, but I can't guarantee how often I'll be able the check the CDC site once I hit the lake.

I see that the Truman camp is going on now, but I just can't swing it this year - darn it!

I may also have an open seat as it looks like my buddy may not be able to go now...

    Happy fishing

I will be around on Sunday. Hit me with a text before then with your screen name (so I know who it is) and I'll give you a fishing report before you get there.

I know, brother - I don't get to go that often anymore, so I don't visit the site that much because it's like salt in the wound seeing you all with those nice fish.

BTW - that's a hog that you have in your avatar!

Good luck at camp! You never know, if LOZ is a no joe, I may pack it up and head your way!

Headed down this afternoon. Staying at a place in twin island cove. May be fishing up around gravois on Saturday morning. Fishing out of a black 92 charger with red stripes and 150 merc. Hope to hear the fishing report.

fishing yesterday late afternoon was fairly poor, but the late night fishing was very good. They moved up on the banks during the night. Fishing during the day today has again been pretty poor, but I expect the night fishing to be very good again. Although, I have heard from others on here that spider rigging is working. I guess the high barometric pressure has likely push them further off the banks and they will likely be back at night after the Sun Goes Down and the pressure drops
