    Default Pomme de terre surprise


    I got to fish Pomme de terre lake Tuesday night for the first time in years. I was very surprised to find out how good the crappie fishing is on the lake. We started pulling big slabs out of the water in around 18 to 25 foot about six feet down. To my surprise I pulled a 1.99 lb and several 1 1/2 lb fish also.     The night fishing looks good!!! How about the daytime bite? Anything going on there yet around the banks or or they still over brush for the most part?
