Thread: Family Style Fishing at Stockton Update

Not much luck with the family style bank fishing on Stockton for us this weekend. Only ended up with about 9 fishermen/women out of the 35 people family group. More importantly only ended up with about 7 keeper crappie between us all and they were caught be 2 of the younger generation who headed up to the dam while the rest of us headed south to CC. Crazy crappie! Talked to a couple guys fishing the pier there who said they had tore 'em up the day before, go figure-day late & a dollar short! LOL

On a much better note we found enough Morels to feed the whole fam damily! Fried them up with a very nice mess of crappie that one of my brother-in-laws donated from a recent Truman trip! YUM-YUM!

Should be on strong for both fish and fungi this week!
