Bear Den was Bear dead. Spent too much time trying to get bites. So I moved. 22 keepers today. Humminbird 1199 is paying off. Found two super brush piles and a huge log sitting on channel breaks next to gravel spawn areas. Thick with fish. Brought home five for supper this week. Pictures to follow. Was hanging capps and coleman rigs and pushing up to the brush. All three were in ten feet of water. Males and females mixed together. Female eggs still tight. Still a week out for the girls.

Those side imaging units make the job easier. I put my 998 to use Friday on LoZ to find new brush piles and it turned a slow day in to a great day of crappie catching.
