If it weren't for bad luck

It wasn't me but Lord knows I've had days like that. How'd you do fishing?

been down that road! sick feeling knowing your boat is going down. I check tht plug 3-4 times before launch now.

Done that once. When you hear the motor start gurgling as it's going down suddenly you realize what you have done.

Did that one time in March when my partner had to park the truck far away from the ramp and he couldn't back the trailer. Had to pull the boat on shore. That water sure is cold when you have to strip down to your underwear and jump in. ((())) A word of advice: if you do have to pull ashore w/o the plug put the stern ashore, not the bow. Otherwise the stern will sink below the water line and you can't pump the boat out without first pushing it back into the water. It took four men to push it back out when it was full of water. Talk about feeling like a dumb a!s.

Did that two years ago at reelfoot launching by myself at kirbys pocket, also had to park a ways away from ramp when i got back to boat she was bout six inches deep in the back but was able to get trailer backed in and get boat back on trailer to drain. Any other time there would have been five or six waiting to put in or take out.

Did that one time with my old boat. Had a buddy with me and I always keep a spare plug in the live well. Just took her out opened her up and let most of the water get sucked out. Then had my buddy put the spare plug in and let the bilge pump take care of the light work.

Thats why I leave it hooked until motor started-make sure everything is good to go before I unhook. I even do this when someone is backing me in
