    Default Lake of the Ozarks

Anyone have anything to report; fishing, ice, water temps, weather.... dying of cabin fever and heading down over 3/14 weekend just to be there.

only problem I see is finding a place to launch. Lake is at 654.
2 weeks ago, fishing was pretty decent, or at least decent enough to keep you interested.
But with the warm up for the next week, you should have some success. Hint: they won't be as deep as you think they should be.

Is 654 high? Low? I'm unfamiliar.

Mostly wondering if I can put in at PB2 - ice and water depth permitting.
Teach your kids to hunt and fish and you won't have to hunt for your kids !!

You wont have any problems at PB2 .
    And 654 is low
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Good thing about the water level, you can go around and mark some decent structure for later in the year.

You have to walk the bank to mark the structure.

The water level is 652.7 feet. Use a lot of caution while navigating.
A lot of the flats are less than a foot deep now.

I was on it yesterday in Warsaw. It is way low. The flat in front of the harbor was 3' in spots.

    What's the normal level? 656?
The fish you release may be a kids fish of a lifetime!
