    Default Threading jigs

Hey all I need some advice on gadgets. I started taking my dad out fishing with me this last year and he has become my goto fishing buddy. He has a very difficult time threading line through the eye of jigs. Unfortunately its probably my fault as I took out one of his eyes in a freak golfing accident (long story). Anyway I know there are some gadgets out there made to help, but I don't want one thats difficult to use. Do any of you have experience with these gadgets and can recommend a good one. I looked at Rodgers and they didn't have anything. I will order online, cabelas, or bass pro are my preferred shopping stores. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Not sure about any gadgets, but I do pre tie some jigs. I put a jig on about 12" of line then a barrel swivel on the other end. I tie a snap swivel to my main line. If I break off or want to Change jig heads, I just snap a new one on. Much easier than tying with cold fingers.

I have looked online quite a bit. The majority of the ones I saw are for trout type lures. Really looking for experience with or a good review of one. I just don't want to buy something that frustrates him just as much as trying to tie a jig on. Thanks speck thats a good idea I might try to do that. What do you do with the pretied jigs wrap them on the round pipe insulation?

Pipe insulation would work fine but I like these a whole lot better.

Go to a sewing store and get a needle threader. Attach to a lanyard.
God bless Charlie Brewer and Bobby Garland.
