Theys pretty good.
Looks like Capps and Coleman are now 8 time champs after winning the CUSA championship this weekend. Hard to deny them of being the best fisherman in the country. They are hard to beat in the big tournaments when the pressure is on.
Theys pretty good.

I have to disagree, I think most of everything they win is in spider riggin tours......... one pole I know a lot of fishermen that could easily be said #1........ but yes they good at what they do.......
A FISH IN THE PAN IS WORTH TWO IN THE LAKE
Sorry mate if I offended you but I said they were good at what they do....... in fact a couple of fellows I know that I consider the best don't even fish or want to fish tournaments........
A FISH IN THE PAN IS WORTH TWO IN THE LAKE
Is it illegal to use a single pole in all these tournaments they have won??? No. I just find it funny how you want to downgrade them because of method.
Actually, they are both from Reelfoot lake. You grow up knowing how to single pole those cypress tangles. They have won several there with one pole.

I surrender, nap time...................
A FISH IN THE PAN IS WORTH TWO IN THE LAKE
Is nap time over yet??? I will agree with you on the One Pole statement. Some of the best one pole fisherman in the country are from right here in the great state of MO. We are lucky enough to have them fishing with us in our CDC tournaments as well. It is great being able to talk/learn from several different guys that I feel are at the top of list of "Jig" fisherman. Shannon, Morgan, all 3 Rogers, Cox, Snider, Albin, Hockett, Dant etc. etc. etc. These names are always at the top of any leader board on lakes with visible structure. There are many more great great one pole guys and Monty I would put you right up there to, even though you don't fish a lot of tournaments. Another great one pole angler most guys have not even heard of that has taught me a lot is Harold Lee Gehrig. Monty I am sure you have fished against him in the past when you had to weigh 30 fish in a tournament. Until a large tournament trail starts that only allows one pole per person the troller's/rigger's will continue to dominate 90% of the tournaments. Truman is what I call a "One pole" lake but when you brought the best anglers from all over the US here in 2010 for nationals "Rigging/Slow trolling" took home the title and the two boats. It is a deadly way to catch fish year round. With that said it would be nice to see more one pole tournaments. We need a big CDC one pole tournament about every other month.
