If don't have my number still I will shoot it your way. I have been fishing all I can and look forward to getting back on the water with you.
What's happening everybody? Been a long time since I've been on the board or on a boat or a lake for that matter. November 2010 to be exact, fished a small tourney out of Shawnee access with Seejimfish. I think it was Bugman, Guido and a few others were there. Stayed after at the ramp an bs'd for a while. Ready to do it again. Anyways I have been crazy busy with work and that's all starting to settle down as the company is growing and I can get some time off regularly now. So I have a question about a boat I'm thinking about buying. Sold mine in 2010 to upgrade and ended up getting a divorce so the $$$$ got jacked by lawyers. I'm looking at a 1986 Hydra-Sports I believe it's 17'6" with a 1984 175 merc. Anybody know much about the Hydra-Sports boats? Gonna test drive it on the 19th. I know it should run smooth from idle to wide open and hit idle when you drop back down. Aside from obvious stuff like that and it doesn't sink, and of course good compression across all 6, anybody got any good info on these boats. An old buddy had one like 15 years ago and he liked his. Any feedback would be great. And once again I can't wait to bag a limit and start bragging again

I have the 1984 hydra sports and it is 17' 6", and has a one fifty on it, used to have a 235 on it, and the 150 will still push it right at 60, great boat and I have owned it since 1988......... everything still works on it, except for the in dash depth guage....... I sure like mine and mine has dual consols.....and a livewell up front as well as at the back......
A FISH IN THE PAN IS WORTH TWO IN THE LAKE
monty, i know one thing on your boat that doesn't work,,,,,YOU !! anyone looking at a used Hydra Blaster should be happy to catch half the fish you've caught from yours, p.s. glad i didn't know you when you had the 235, just sayin'
Yep with that old 235 on it we used to haul the mail from bucksaw to tally many a time, now all I haul is super big rolls of toilet paper and brush for brush piles and stake beds..... and 6 crappie once in awhile......course we had to stop in State Park Marina and gas up......man that turkey drank gas.......wouldn't want to be filling it up in these times and prices.......
