Twain is still extremely muddy....... spent the weekend over at our cabin and took the long way around to check out the arms. North Fork, Otter and Middle Fork are all still dirty and backed up. I can only assume South Fork is the same as it was running again after the rain on Saturday.

While the lake seems to be settling down a bit, now you have to watch to see if the Corp. decides to dump water since the Mississippi is receding. Only a couple boat ramps open right now and there wasn't a rig in any of them.

Mother Nature's way of protecting herself!

On a positive note, did find my first mess of mushrooms for the year.

I don't know what the flow rate is right now but yes they have begun dumping water....I live just up the road from Salt River and it's been bank full and running hard. I'm trying to find a link that shows flow....will post it if I can find it.

Fished on Twain Fri and Sat tried rigging, jigs, bobbers and anything else we could think of with no luck tried from 0 to 25 fow not 1 fish caught. Just way to muddy and high. Will be back for the Twain camp hopefully it gets stabilized by then. If it gets better before then I'm heading back as soon as it stabilize's.Cause it should get good at any time, just needs to calm down a bit.
