    Default USA! USA! USA! Made in America, or else!

    Am getting tired of buying things made in China! Is there ANY fishing reels made in the USA? China does NOT deserve MY money! I am tired of supporting a communist country from buying THEIR communist products! They are taking 20% of "THEIR" money and making war machines now and; with OUR support to THEM they are gonna be #1 in military power in just a few short years! This will result with YOUR money! Now stepping down from the stump, again I repeat my question, after two deep breaths and calming down my blood pressure;
    Is there an AMERICAN made fishing reel that I can buy?
    I don't want to be the cause of communists to be building battle ships and nukes and some day soon over powering my Grandchildren and forcing them to be a communist! By buying THEIR products they are being able to, NOW, build a better, faster and more powerful jet fighter than we have!
    Chinese products are built to break faster so WE can buy them again and again and again! Where is the made in the USA fishing reels! If I can't find a USA made fishing reel I am gonna' cut me a 10 foot hickory stick and tie a ten foot line to it and tie on an EAGLE CLAW my made in the USA hook, for my fishing rig,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,or quit fishing all together~!
    I need a MADE in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA fishing reel,,...or else!

    Hate to burst your bubble but ya mite as well quit driving your car and start walking everywhere and while you get ready to walk take off your shoes cuase they made them too. We live in a country ruled by people who would rather kiss other countries butts than support thier own people with jobs. Sad but the truth
    There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

    It's definitely a global market for sure. This is the reason we aren't at war with China somewhere right now. All the Communist countries that believe their Marxist Dogma Capitalism doesn't work were falling behind and becoming poorer all the while watching the USA grow leaps and bounds. China got smart and adopted a Private / Public system where the chosen few get rich. They started subsidizing and as with all subsidized booms, there is a bust. Labor rates have increased in China. Fuel costs are extremely high making the cost to ship much more. They are inflating their currency more than the U.S. (I know that's hard to believe). They will start to see contraction and the manufacturers will look for a cheaper place to make their goods so the average American consumer can afford them.

    I can't blame Bytizawn for wanting to purchase American products. If your income dictates you can and it makes you feel better. You have 100% of my support. Keep in mind, just because it's assembled in the U.S., doesn't mean the parts don't come from overseas.

    Buy American when you can!

    Amen brother!! The more we import from other countries the weaker ours will get. I don't care what the stereo type of American made products has been, you can't beat most of them. They may cost you a few more bucks sometimes but it is usually well worth it!! I'm a big fan of St. Croix rods, I don't have very may USA reels, but I've been searching more and more for USA made products!

    Kit is correct about it being a global market. Personally I buy American when given a choice. The problem with that theory is Americans demand higher salaries, higher minimum wages ect which increase the cost of production. Then we demand the lowest prices for the goods we purchase. Sorta having your cake and eating it too. Americans, ;I am as guilty as anyone) love our $600 big screen TV's, $100 smart phones, ect, that can't possibly be produced for the same cost at the labor rates we demand.
