I would say spend a extra dollar and buy another brand. Just my opinion. Everyone has their favorites but I have always liked Stren.

If ur gonna cast with it any mono or fluorocarbon will work! Just remember mono has more stretch than fluorocarbon and braid has no stretch at all! The less stretch in a line the easier it is to feel a bite! Just my .02!

I've been using fluorocarbon now for a while and I really like it. I do not recommend the cajun though. Usually when line is that cheap it has memory right out of the spool and your just asking for bird nests when that's the case. It's a bigger headache than what it's worth. Trilene XL is always a solid cheap line though in my opinion unless your needing something very visual you might try it if your looking to save yourself a buck. 4lb test has caught me some big cats hybrids and walleyes on accident I just set my drag fairly loose.
