    Default Got LOZ Report?

Hi, I am new to the site. I am taking a friend to the Lake of the Ozark next weekend (26th). Can you provide a solid lake report that other readers can use to improve success during the upcoming spawn? It would be great if you can help other readers catch Crappie.

Please provide tips that readers can use like:

    • Mile marker on the lake
    • Front, middle, back of a cover
    • Type of structure - rock ledges, chunk rock, gravel, muddy
    • Lure - Brand, weight size, colors, tipped with minnow or something else
    • Water depth
    • Fish biting at what depth
    • Fish number and size caught per hour
    • Time of day the fish are biting best
    • Other observations

Stay focused, don't go off on a tangent and talk about fishing edicate, motor oil, boat brands, fish recipes, etc. Just tell us how to catch crappie.

Read posts on, LOZ after the rain. The 17th the females were really getting to the banks. This was on the glaize arm near PB1. By the 26th they may be winding down there. Gravois arm may be better. Send Working man a message he may be more help he knows lake the better.

Maybe someone should pick you up at your house and drive you to the lake, put you in a boat drive you to the fish and bait your hook for you. Do you think you could set the hook yourself? Or should they do that for you also?

There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
