Congrats on catching some fish. That is one heck a of a tramatic experience, glad you turned out OK.
Well I would like to first say hello after some time away from here.
I went and hit the docks at LP and did ok for the first fishing day of the year for me. Ended up catchinc around 20 fish with 8 being pretty nice keepers. half over 10" and three over 12" which made me pretty happy!
This was the first trip after my accident. On January 28th I was riding my mototrycle on a beautiful 65 degree day when a guy ran a stop sign and mowed me over! I was caught under the truck and they had to use a jack to get the truck off of my head! I was in the ICU for 16 days in Kansas City and then was moved to the brain trauma unit in Mount Vernon Missouri for what was expected to be 5 weeks. After 14 days God blessed me and they said there was not need for me to be there any longer and I came home to my family finally. No physical damage at all, and my brain recovered 100% as well! I wondered if I would ever fish again and here I am with a report! I am a blessed man! Everyday you are left on this earth to live is a good day!!!

With so many inattentive drivers these days, it's surprising there aren't more motorcyclist fatalaties than we have. Thankfully God smiled on you that day to not only keep you alive, but relatively uninjured (brainwise). Hope you have lots more luck on the water!!
