Default Pomme - Coffe with cream

Miss Sandie has threatened to hurt me if I don't take her fishing tomorrow. She can't take the cold because of all the chemo treatments she has endured and has been foaming at the mouth hoping for a warm day. With the latest rain I knew we better do some scouting today. So off we went. Wanted to share the info with those who may be wondering ....

Coffee with cream .... Thats what color the water is at Bolivar landing and it's up enough you can't see the concrete dividers in the launch. I'm putting in a picture of the launch area and the water looks much better in the picture than what it is. 5 die hards parked in the lot.

Then off to State park down 64B... it looked a little better but pretty stained. 4 trucks in the lot.
Then to Nemo Bridge ... stained but looking a little better than the first two places.... two trucks in the lot. Nemo cove and Russell cove both looked pretty good ..... On over to Pittsburg park down RB...Whoa !! it looked like milk chocolate. One truck in the lot who must have been fishing with dynamite to do any good.

Guess we will try around Nemo tomorrow if the wind isn't lousey. Have never fished in that area before, any tips would be appreciated. Black Chevy truck / Blue and white 17 foot Lowe. if you see us give us a shout.... Hope this helps some of you plan your fishing trip this weekend..... Bill

I hope you get her on some fish after her long wait. Bring on the high water and mud. We like it up here at Truman. It seems to push them shallow. Unless we get a cold snap or they start pulling a bunch of water the they will pull back out.

Corp is dropping Pomme at 2800cfs, it dropped 4" or more today. Can't deside whether to try it tomorrow or not. Muddy water will be moving towards the dam.

I should have stayed home and ate Ice Cream ..... one battery died, got a short in the trolling motor leads, didn't get one tap on any bait, and Miss Sandie said she may go ahead and hurt me anyway ...... Must be bad Kharma catching up with me for all those things I did back in the 60's .....

Got to get those bad days out of the way to make room for all the good ones.
