Only boat out.

Put in at Bucksaw and was the only boat out. The ramp was a little ice covered but we put in any way. The fishing was great with several big ones being caught. We caught several fish 12 inches and bigger. All were caught spider rigging minnows in the channel. We fished mostly down the lake in the cleaner water. Minnows were the bait of choice.

Way to stay after them Richard. Kind of peaceful out there when your the only boat on the lake. Looks like I will be getting some Fridays off for a while. Can't wait to spend them on the lake.

Thanks for the report, with this weather i can see why your the only boat out. Come on sunshine. The good thing is day light saving time is coming up, march 10.

I love fishing Truman during deer season. There are a few other boats out but a lot of times, we have parts of the lake all to ourselves. It's kinda become a tradition with Bwillaub, Beagle, Drfishjd and me.
