    Default Truman's Heating Up


    Just talked with Richard Bowling. Today had biggest limits of Crappie in quite awhile, all caught spider rigging. Released 2 pounders. Still running his trips out of Bucksaw, so if you're looking for a good time and quality fish give him a call.

    Nitro do you live close to Bucksaw just off U hwy? Just trying to figure out who you are. Richard is in my opinion the best fisherman on Truman. Yes I know there are a few guys that can whack the big fish. But for someone to be able to go out and put limits in the boat in any weather conditions and with mostly people that are not "full time" fisherman. I know of no one any better. I'm sure Marvin or a few others may disagree but heck what do I know anyway.

    Wow member since 2008 with 4 post? Not a big typer, good plug for Richard. but your right Truman is hot has been since October . I and rnitro encourage anyone who doesnt normally winter fish to go give it a try and yes Richard is a very good person to show you the winter ropes.

    Fished today, none going two lbs. A few 1.5 though, seemed to get lock jaw about 1-2pm. Was a pretty day!

    I talked to Richard for a while tonight & he wanted to clarify that they had only 1 2lb fish today & it was released.. Richard did say it was one of the best trips for big fish...Richard is also considering joining the CDC family..Richard is now a full time guide now for Crappie, Bass , Turkey & Catfish..Give him a call you wont be disappointed..He is also on facebook & will have a web page shortly..
