    Default Proud papa

Went out with my boy this evening after school to shoot docks. He has been practicing with a jig with the hook tip cut off for months and today was the real deal. He did awesome and no hooks sunk in his paw either. It was awesome watching him he was having a blast even though fishing sucked for us today.Name: image.jpg

That is very cool. Just getting a boy his size out fishing is one thing. But to have him shooting docks already is awesome. He has to really be in to it to want to practice it. Congrats on being a great dad and getting him out on the water and with teaching him a super tough technique. He will be killer by the time he is in high school.

You should be a proud Papa for giving him the opportunity and training to be a lifetime fishing partner.

Tell him to remember the thrill of learning a difficult casting method.

Great job young man you will be catching fish soon I am sure.

Thanks for the pic and post.

Not bad for a 5 year old, i hope by the time he is in high school they will have fishing teams in every high school in the country! I hear missouri is getting pretty close to getting theirs.

That is amazing for 5 yrs, I thought he was older than that. Excellent student with great abilities.

Maybe he could teach me how to do that.

It will not be long at all before they get it going. Will take lots of support from the fisherman in the community to help them get started and lots of fundraisers. Would love to see them in our areas. What better place than around LOZ or Truman. I watch the college kids on tv and have heard two of them say they would have not continued their education beyond high school if there was not collegiate bass fishing. One was going to school to be an engineer. So even if the fishing does not work out professionally he will at least land a good enough job to pay for his fishing addiction.
