Walleye vs. Crappie

Fried up the walleye I caught yesterday and had it for the first time. It was pretty dang good but I think crappie is a little better imo. Also tried Uncle Buck's Lightly Seasoned Breading and would highly recommend it.

Wallleye is hard to beat........except jumbo perch.

Starting a walleye/crappie debate is like yelling "fire' in a theatre. I have had both and yellow perch too and I would take any of them anyday and not complain.
Where you are when you eat them has a bearing too.
These Wallys were caught about 2 hours before they hit the pan on a wild remote lake in Canada this summer. It would be hard to find a better meal!

I think I would have to agree with the wally boys....if I could figure out how to catch em, I'd likely spend equal time chasing both

Walleye to me is like a crappie steak. I love them both but can catch crappie more frequently. I think the illusiveness of the walleye in our area also make them taste a little better if you know what I mean. All that said if forced to choose I would pick a walleye over a crappie.
