If you want to catch walley, I have several good spots on Stockton Lake, most in the cedar ridge area, some up sons creek area, Walley can be caught rat now in Hawker cove and on the point coming into hawker cove.. a real good spot is what use to be miller branch cove just south of eagle island on the west side, some old foundations on the point, I also catch several walley fishing the north side of Maze creek work them points big and small, work a worm or jig/minnow and kinda bounce it along, eaven now cold weather bite is still good, or at least last few years it has, I ain't been this year. a real good spot in the summer is sons creek, from the mouth of greezer to the first bend is real good both sides of sons creek, also north side of sons creed on the high rock areas, about a 1/2 mile down from the bridge, work the small cuts, not now water to low and the crappie to thick in there,,,, ya'll know when I serious, I serious have fun I hate chasin the toothy critters. you can have mine

That's exactly what I was going to say! Only ate walleye a few times in my life since I rarely catch them but boy were they delicious!

Another good spot at Stockton is going in to Price cove. There are 5 little gravel points that hold walleye all spring and summer long. Used to make my own crawler harness and bottom bounce from um. Crappie, catfish, and walleye are all good fried, fried taters with a little thrown in, and summer time ice tea. Miller cove at the point you are talking about is good from 7 in the moring till about 9 then hawker point island till 10: then price cove from 10 till 2 then back to millers or hawker point. also the point and bluff going south under the mile long bridge

I would agree with the flat head, only had it once but it was darn good, then a toss up between wally and crappie and then a nice gill and then there are the days I would just as soon have them blue gills as any thing else....... but like said, the crappie is all I really target and easy to catch and have fresh when I do want some......
