Default Good morning on Smthville 5-6

Nvrgvup444 and I got out this morning and went up the Platte arm a ways . We got into some good slabs on the first drop offs outside the spawning banks . Most were females suspended in 10-13' . We caught the majority of the fish near timber , but we also caught some suspended away from the timber on the sharp drop offs . Where ever I marked fish on the graph , we would get several . We kept the boat moving if the bite slowed .
We had to leave early with the storms moving in , but I think we would have had two limits . I enjoyed the morning . Nvrgvrup444 is a pleasure to fish with and a good fisherman as well .

2 of Scott's fish! It was a very good day to be on the lake, thanks Scott. Early morning was best, bite slowed down as the day went on, but we still caught fish just about everywhere and every depth.

Way to go guys. Thanks for the report. I'm hoping to get some time in on the bank this week .. just hoping the crappie haven't already moved out.

From what I have seen the last few trips out , the bigger fish have moved off the banks where I have been fishing . The shallowest water we caught them in This morning was 7' . You could find a steep bank and probably catch some from the shore .

Yeah, that's kinda what I was thinking. The shore bite where I've been fishing shut down late last week and I'm sure this front isn't going to help .. but, we'll see.
