    Welcome Trey! Get a good map from Roger's in Liberty and come to the next Northland get together. I haven't learned all the names of the coves yet either. Glad you got to break in the new boat on some of Smithville's finest (dinks!) There are better fish in there, but they can be hard to find at times. If you fish weekdays, you'll probably see me up there a lot in a Tracker w/50 horse.

    Welcome to the forum ! I have only lived in Mo. For little over 2 years now , but I have learned a lot about Smithville and the other local lakes from the forum members . The get togethers are fun and informative as well .

    Dont suppose you were the guy coming in last week when I was launching were you. I think it was Wed around 1:30. That person commented on how easy the merc 50 is on the gas?
