I'm curious if you all were up the Camp Branch side, or the Trimble side? And if up the Trimble side, are you having to go way up-river?

I went up this morning early, but the bite didn't really get going until it was almost time to go to work. Still managed a few really good (for Smithville) fish... biggest was close to 12". Fished the Trimble area North of W ramp with jigs. Color didn't seem to matter...they hit some blue/white, and anything with chartreuse
Vic n if you only knew Rodney throws those little 12 inch fish back!!!!!!!!!!
May all your live wells be full.Dave
That's okay, got crappie! "One man's trash is another man's treasure"....I'll just follow behind and pick up the leavins' :D
Fish are on the banks. Fish ANY colored jig 1 foot deep under a bobber for PLENTY of 10" plus fish like these. God bless.
