Default Lake of the Ozarks, Gravois Mills

Put in at Gravois mills this morning. Tried several colors orange/chart and black/chart seemed to work the best. We got our limit but it was a tough day. I think I may hit Truman tomorrow.

How is the water color, temperature? I can't get down until the 16th of April, just curious.

Temp I am not sure on as my buddy forgot to put the depth finder in the boat. The water was stained but was still able to see about 1.5 to 2 feet down.

Its slowing down on the Gravois and Main lake too. Last week was smoking hot. The guys that WERE knocking out fast limits last week came in last night beaten down and under limit by more than a few.

I got my limit this morning, but it took 2 hours. Watermelon/chartreuse sliders with chartreuse nibblets.

Got two good limits today out of the back of Indian Creek.Water was muddy but the temp was 54deg and they were on every piece of wood along the bank.Black and Chart. Bobby Garland Minnow Minders either pitching or under a slip float set 3ft. All the way in the back on right hand side that has no docks.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
