heading down there friday for the weekend, hoping for good weather and good crappie

i tried the shallow and couldnt catch a keeper, moved into the channel and caught 18 keepers with the biggest being 1.4 ozs. after about 11 am they quit bitting.
had best luck with lime green body and orange head. good luck and let us know how you do
Ive got a buddy up there right now said its muddy n trashy right now.
Just talked to him again hes done for the day wind ran him off. Said lakes up to 359. Didnt say if he caught ne fish, just bit bout the wind.
Fished it yesterday from 2:30 to dark. Wind was brutal, so didn't get to fish where we would have liked. Fished near swirl hole for an hour or so without a keeper then headed to possum. Possum wasn't too windy in the back and the water was a little clearer, but we just couldn't figure them out. Fished for a couple hours back there and tried every depth from 12 ft to 4 ft and caught only 2 keepers. Went up river near lost creek for the last hour and found a few fish off the river channel. Ended up with only 7. Fishing wasn't great but it was a very nice day even with the wind.
